Site work, new construction and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Whitakers, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; and clubhouse / community center.

The Owner’s Representative will be responsible for completing all needed architectural and engineering services for the proposed Community Center project. Tasks include assisting with the evaluation of potential sites, geotechnical evaluation if needed, preparing preliminary and, if required, environmental reports; providing essential data for the USDA-RD funding application; design; managing the bidding process; negotiating the construction contract; and administering construction to construct and/or renovate a building to serve as a Community Center. There is no existing Community Center in the Town of Whitakers. The selected firm may also be required to facilitate project funding through the preparation of reports in accordance with applicable guidelines. A full architectural/engineering agreement will not be executed until project funds are obligated and all agency requirements are met. The full range of services will be further defined during project development. Each firm that requests the RFQ must provide a point of contact (email, phone, address) and will be placed on a list of interested parties. Questions regarding the project or requirements may be directed to the specified contact, and inquiries can be submitted up to five days prior to the submittal deadline.
