The Town of Franklin is requesting quotes for hourly rates and material mark-up from qualified contractors to provide repair and maintenance services for pumps and motors for the Town of Franklin Department of Public Works, Water and Sewer Divisions. Services shall include, but not be limited to, providing off-site and on-site pump and motor repair and maintenance services. Services will be on an as-needed basis for a variety of types and brands of pumps and motors from the water treatment plants, sewer lift station and water booster stations. Note, Well pumps and motors are excluded from this bid and are handled under a separate bid solicitation. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract bid price, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work. In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39M, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a firm for the purposes of providing repair and maintenance services for pumps and motors for the Town of Franklin Department of Public Works, Water and Sewer Divisions.
