Site work for a water / sewer project in Batesville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes, but may not be limited to, cleaning, removal of roots, removal of protruding service laterals, lining approximately 5,100 linear feet of sanitary sewer ranging from 8-inch to 10-inch diameter, reconnection of existing service laterals, closed circuit television (CCTV), traffic control, and other miscellaneous items in accordance with the specifications. An additional alternate of 2,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer shall be taken under consideration by the City upon receipt of bids. Contract time is 60 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages in the amount of $150.00 will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi Board of Public Contractors establishing classification as to the value and type of construction work on which they are authorized to bid.
