Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.

The work consists of all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing bridge and replace it with a new structure. The scope of work includes the installation of detour signs and barricades, clearing and grubbing, stream diversion and E&S controls, temporary support of excavation, excavation, demolition, reinforcing bar installation, cast-in-place concrete work, stone placement, asphalt pavement work, installation of guide rail, and site restoration. Bidders must submit their bids online in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and include bid security in an amount not less than ten percent of the bid amount, payable to Horsham Township, along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided. The project is subject to applicable prevailing wage acts and employment verification requirements. Horsham Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, eliminate any items from the contract, and waive any informality in the bids.
