Site work and paving for a road / highway in Webster, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of furnishing and placing approximately 65 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt resurfacing (overlay) on specified segments of West Connors Lake Road (approximately 0.92 miles) and the West Connors Lake Road Spur (approximately 0.16 miles). The overlay is to be placed at a thickness of 1.5 inches in one lift and a width of 22 feet. The unit price bid must cover all costs including production, hauling, placement of materials, mobilization and demobilization of labor and equipment, quality control testing and reporting, compliance with material specifications, traffic control, permitting and licensing, any required reposting, overhead, administrative costs, profit, and any incidental items needed to complete the work as specified. All work must be in accordance with the latest edition of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Parts 1 and applicable sections of Part 4). An Engineering Certification is required upon completion, certifying that the work meets Wisconsin DOT specifications and achieves a 10-year design life. The Town of Oakland reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in the bidding process, and accept the bid that best serves the interests of the Town.
