The Barry Lawrence County Ambulance District is accepting sealed bids for the purchase and support of an 80 KW natural gas generator with automatic transfer switch to provide backup power for the District’s ambulance station during power failures or outages. There is a separate bid for delivery and complete installation of the generator and automatic transfer switch. Vendors are encouraged to visit the ambulance station to review the site and project scope prior to submitting bids. Sealed bids must be clearly marked with the applicable bid category (Generator Purchase, Installation, or Maintenance Plan) and mailed or delivered. All bids must remain valid for a minimum of ninety (90) days following submission. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the District.
