All necessary earthwork, labor, materials, and equipment for the repair of the watershed lake dam, including approximately 0.50 acres of tree removal, burrow and turf repair across the dam surface, riprap installation, CCTV inspection, and all appurtenances as depicted in the Drawings. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked for the specific contract. If mailed, the sealed envelope must be enclosed in another envelope and sent to the Hopkinsville Surface and Stormwater Utility, allowing sufficient time for delivery before the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Hopkinsville Surface and Stormwater Utility in an amount not less than the percent of the base bid indicated in Specification Section C-200, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Security. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 90 days after the opening, except prior to the scheduled opening. Any bid received after the specified time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Local Firms may be awarded if their bid is within 5 percent of the lowest bid, provided documentation is submitted showing compliance with the definition of a Local Firm (principal place of business in Hopkinsville and/or Christian County, and majority of payroll paid to local residents). The Hopkinsville Surface and Stormwater Utility may reject any or all bids or waive informalities in the bidding process. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
