Project scope entails the furnishing and startup of dedicated outdoor air units and fan coil units to serve 21 individual Patient and Administration Wings/Floors at Western State Hospital. These wings are located within Buildings 55, 56, 57, and 58. Project furnished outdoor air units and fan coil units shall be installed by others in a multi-phase approach. Inspection and factory startup of project furnished outdoor air units and fan coil units shall be provided in this project. This on-site inspection and startup of project furnished equipment shall be performed by a manufacturer's representative and shall occur after others have installed the project furnished units and other owner furnished materials such as ductwork, piping, grilles and diffusers, etc. Controls furnished with project furnished equipment shall be integrated into the building management system by others. Proper storage of all project's furnished equipment is required from the equipment delivery date to the installation date. All project buildings/areas are located within a secure, acute care adult psychiatric facility. Interested contractors must contact the designated person to schedule a site visit. Contractors must make an appointment to visit the site. For all project information and documents, contractors must access the specified website. There is no charge for plans and specifications, but if a hard copy is desired, payment is required for this option. Contractors obtaining plans and specifications from any source other than the specified website will not be registered as a plan holder and will not receive addenda. Only online bids will be accepted. Emailed and hard copies delivered by any method will not be accepted. The entire official bid document and bid bond (if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded. Bidders must enter $0.00 for Contract Amount in the e-procurement system and enter the actual Contract Amount on the Official Bid Document submitted as an attachment in the system.
