The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools and performing all services required for the construction of the B Street and Main Street Intersection Improvements - Paving and work incidental thereto. The project consists of placing approximately 970 square yards of AC pavement on existing aggregate base course. Asphalt thickness shall be 5 inches total, placed in two lifts of 2.5 inches each (1/2" AC MAG Mix). Final grading to be completed by the Contractor. Rough aggregate base course grading and earthwork will be performed by the city prior to paving operation. The Scope of works includes the installation of asphalt concrete (AC) paving at the intersection of B Street and Main Street. The work shall include, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the placement of asphalt paving in accordance with the applicable standards. All traffic control to be implemented and maintained by the City. The contractor shall coordinate with the City staff to schedule paving activities and implement appropriate traffic control measures. All paving operations shall be phased to maintain business access and minimize impacts to traffic circulation. Nighttime or early morning paving operations will be permitted. PROJECT LOCATION: The Project is located in Yuma County, Arizona. The proposed work is located within the limits of the City of San Luis, Arizona, at the intersection of B Street and Main Street. The project shall be complete and in place within 30 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed and no later than June 30th, 2026.
