The Jem Avenue & Dori Lane Sanitary Replacement Improvement Project (phase 2) includes the removal and replacement of two sanitary manholes, installation of a new cleanout, replacement of 860 feet of 8-inch VCP gravity sewer, replacement of sewer laterals to the legal right of way and select building sewers, and select concrete replacement. A certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Materialmen's Bond. The contract is subject to requirements under Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 regarding economic opportunities for low- and very low-income persons. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid, and no discrimination is permitted in employment. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days for review and qualification checks. All Bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form, and the successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of fifteen percent (15%) of the Contract amount.
