Site work for a road / highway in Burns Lake, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The scope of work for the Municipal Parving 2026 contract is expected to include the items listed in Appendix 2 - Schedule of Quantities and Prices. This includes placement of asphalt along Aspen Street, asphalt patching on Charlie Crescent and 1000 square meters of various patches throughout the Village. Aspen Street - Phase 2A and 2B Deep utility installation, road subgrade works, and concrete for Aspen Street. Phase 2A was constructed in 2025 and phase 2B will be constructed under a separate contract this year. Both Phase 2A and Phase 2B are anticipated to be ready for pavement by September 8th, 2026. The intent is to provide a smooth asphalt surface for the road and parking areas identified on the design drawings and shown below. The surface of Aspen Street, through to the extent of the curb returns, will be paved with 75mm asphalt. Phase 2A - Between Third Ave and Casimir Ave Phase 2B - Past Third Ave Charlie Crescent Patching Work is currently underway on the Active Transportation Improvements on Charlie Crescent. The recent curb and sidewalk construction required removal of a 0.7m wide strip of pavement along the road. Pavement is required from the existing pavement sawcut to the extents of the concrete curb. The intent is to provide a smooth asphalt surface for the 170 square meters of asphalt patching required on Charlie Crescent. Ts'Il Kaz Koh has also requested that Traffic Calming measures be implement. The design includes two Traffic Calming Speed Hump and Table - as per MMCD Typical Detail M5. Various Steets - Patching The Village has several other areas that require asphalt patching following repairs or maintenance throughout the community. Please provide pricing for asphalt patching within existing road structures that are a minimum of 25 square meters, and a maximum of 100 square meters. Total estimated area is 1,000 square meters. Work should include an allowance for saw cuts and asphalt removal, as well as removal of unsuitable materials and replacements with gravels. Asphalt Curb The Village would like to construct 150m of 150mm asphalt barrier curb along 2nd Avenue between Centre Street and Highway 16, and 150m of 150mm asphalt barrier curb along McKenna Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue.
