Project has been Rebid The work consists of a two-story building addition to the McAllen Heritage Center. All bid responses are to be submitted electronically through the City of McAllen's bidding portal. Original, hard copy, and/or late bids will not be accepted. A Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in Texas, or a certified cashier's check, payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, must be submitted in a sealed envelope as a guaranty. The original bid security must be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked as Bid Security for Project No. 05-26-c31-976 McAllen Heritage Center New Storage Building. The City reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids, to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the bid considered the best value to the City, and to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days without taking action. Applicable product categories include building construction industrial, building construction commercial, construction general services, masonry, structural and reinforcement steel, and stucco. To view the solicitation, access plans and specifications, and submit a bid response, registration in the City's bidding portal is required. Solicitation documents will not be mailed, e-mailed, or provided in person. Once registered, bidders will be added to the solicitation distribution list for changes or addenda.
