The project consists of fully replacing the southbound bridge decks over Mercer Springs Road and Brush Creek along the West Virginia Turnpike at I-77 Milepost 13.73 and Milepost 13.79 with precast deck panels and barriers using accelerated bridge construction. It also includes fully repainting steelwork, pneumatically applied mortar (shotcrete) repairs to substructure units, and applying concrete protective coating on all piers and abutments for the north and southbound bridges over Mercer Springs Road, as well as pneumatically applied mortar (shotcrete) repairs to substructure units and concrete protective coating on all piers and abutments for the north and southbound bridges over Brush Creek.
