Renovation of a transportation facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), through the MTA Construction and Development Company, will issue a two-step Request for Proposals to engage a qualified Design-Builder for design-build services under Contract A46038R for the Renewal of Chambers Street Station on the 8th Avenue Line in Manhattan. Respondents selected in the first step, the Request for Qualification (RFQ) process, become eligible to participate in the second step, the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The intention is to award a design-build contract at the end of the RFP process. To participate, vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Business enterprises must also register as a bidder through the MTA Vendor Portal. Documents may be obtained by submitting a Document Order Form and additional forms as required to the NYCT Bid Reception Desk via email.
