The Town of Midland is seeking a consultant to design and produce construction drawings for the Dominion Avenue reconstruction project, as well as oversee Contract Administration and Inspection duties during construction. The project is divided into two phases: Phase 1 covers Dominion Avenue from King Street to Fourth Street, and Phase 2 covers from Fourth Street to 840 Dominion Avenue. The design scope includes replacing the asphalt surface and base, sidewalks where needed, curb and gutter, sub drains, watermain and services to property lines, sanitary main and services to property lines, adding new storm sewers from 840 Dominion Avenue to Eighth Street, removing culverts and ensuring proper grading for drainage, replacing storm sewer and catch basins, and constructing a new sidewalk on the north side from Eighth Street to 840 Dominion Avenue. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals (RFP) for consulting services has been issued by the owner. Phase 1 is expected to start spring 2027 to be completed no later than November 2027.
