Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Warrenville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project involves approximately 0.75 miles of asphalt resurfacing, asphalt pavement patching, HMA bike path installation, intermittent PCC sidewalk replacement, full curb and gutter replacement, thermoplastic pavement markings, restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project. Bidders are required to comply with federal labor standards, Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130 1-12), and Section 3 regulations. Compliance by subcontractors and lower tier subcontracts is also required. Minorities and women owned businesses (MBE WBE) are encouraged to submit bids. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required and proof of active registration must be provided with bid document submittals.
