Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Luverne, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, Demolition, Excavation, Civil, and Electrical construction. The scope includes demolition of 2 existing electric natural gas hydronic heating boilers and associated piping, boiler pumps, flue, controls, and wiring; demolition of 1 existing fuel oil natural gas hydronic heating boiler and associated piping, boiler pumps, flue, controls, and wiring; installation of 3 new propane natural gas full condensing hydronic heating boilers and 3 new boiler pumps; modifications to existing hydronic piping; extension of new boiler flues through the roof; integration of new boiler controllers with the existing building automation system; installation of a new propane tank, vaporizer, and piping as the backup fuel source; electrical modifications to power new pumps and boilers; site grading at the rear of the building where an existing fuel tank was removed; and installation of a new area drain and associated piping at the rear of the building.
