Pre Bid /QA date add as per Clarification 2 The work consists of the investigation of water service lines and replacement of lead and lead-lined service lines. Bids must be submitted using the designated bid forms and in sealed envelopes with proper labeling. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of at least ten percent (10%) but not more than $20,000.00 of the amount bid, as well as a certificate letter from a surety company for a completion bond. The project includes a 10 percent utilization goal for small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDs), to be met either by subcontracting or by establishing unrestricted bidding procedures. All bidders must comply with relevant New Jersey statutes, prevailing wage laws, and provide necessary disclosures and registrations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, but the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bidders must fulfill all requirements under N.J.A.C. 7:22-9 and related regulations. Bid forms, contracts and specifications are available by contacting Remington & Vernick Engineers.
