The Contractor shall furnish, deliver, and ensure operational readiness of one (1) skid-mounted, diesel-powered centrifugal pump system capable of a minimum pumping capacity of 3,000 gallons per minute (GPM), including a minimum of 40 feet of suction piping and 40 feet of discharge piping. The pump system shall meet or exceed the following specifications: maximum capacity of 3,750 GPM; maximum total dynamic head (TDH) of 140 feet; maximum suction lift of 24 feet; and solids handling capability of up to 3.125 inches. The unit shall include 8-inch, 150# ANSI B16.5 flanged suction and discharge connections, a maximum impeller diameter of 12.2 inches, and a maximum operating speed of 1,900 RPM. The pump shall be diesel-powered with fuel consumption based on approximately 75 horsepower and a fuel tank capacity sufficient for up to 24 hours of continuous operation. The unit dimensions shall not exceed 74.81 inches in height, 105 inches in width, and 181.69 inches in length, and shall be equipped with a sound-attenuated enclosure capable of maintaining noise levels at or below 67 dBA at a distance of 7 meters (23 feet). The Contractor shall provide all necessary documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals, warranty information, and performance data, and shall deliver the equipment fully assembled, tested, and ready for immediate use. If this Solicitation requires submission of bid guarantee and performance bonds, there will be a separate page explaining those requirements. Responses submitted without the required bid bond or certified check shall be deemed non-responsive. When the City deems it necessary, bid bonds/deposits shall be prescribed and are advertised in the public notices inviting bids. Normally, if a bid bond/deposit is requested, it is in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Payment and Performance Bonds requested for construction projects shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount. Liquidated damages will be assessed against Vendor in the amount of $500 per day, for each day after each milestone that the work contemplated is incomplete.
