The City of South Daytona, Florida (City) is requesting Request for Proposal from capable firms to provide professional services for design for FDOT LAP Project 452584-1-38-01 Golfview Blvd Shared Use Path from Beville Road (SR 400) to Big Tree Road and FDOT LAP Project 451248-1- 38-01 Magnolia Avenue Shared Use Path from Re ed Canal Road to Beville Road (SR 400). This solicitation shall be part of the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) process as mandated in Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes and 40 USC 1101-1104 ("Brooks Act"). It is the interest of the Request for Proposals for Professional Services (PS) to select a single Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pre-qualified firm to provide Design Services for FDOT LAP Project 452584-1-38-01 Golfview Blvd Shared Use Path from Beville Road (SR 400) to Big Tree Road and FDOT LAP Project 451248-1-38-01 Magnolia Avenue Shared Use Path from Re ed Canal Road to Beville Road (SR 400) (Federal-aid Funding LAP). The intent is to award both projects to one (1) firm, however, each project will be tracked and invoiced separately. The scope of work will include: Design for a new 10-foot wide shared-use path (with the exception of a 275-foot long constrained segment, which can only accommodate an 8-foot wide path) along Golfview Boulevard between Beville Road and Big Tree Road, a distance of approximately 0.73 miles as well as Design for a new 10-12 foot wide shared-use path along the east side of Magnolia Avenue, extending approximately 1.5 miles from Beville Road to Big Tree Road. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
