The Consultant will provide Natural Resources and Environmental Assessment services on an as and when required basis in support of federal infrastructure, marine, freshwater, and land-based projects across British Columbia. Services may include support for federal environmental assessment and regulatory compliance, including Impact Assessment Act (IAA) requirements, Fisheries Act reviews and authorizations, and Species at Risk Act (SARA) permitting. The Consultant will conduct biological, ecological, and natural resource field surveys and inventories, including terrestrial, freshwater, and marine environments, to identify and assess habitats, species, and ecological conditions. Bidders are required to actively hold or obtain all required security clearance(s) prior to the date of the award, with the anticipated security clearance level being Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Interested consultants who do not actively hold the identified security clearances should begin the security clearance application process as soon as possible by applying through DCC’s Industrial Security Program (ISP). Bidders must follow instructions for the sponsorship process as outlined on DCC's website and include specified information in their sponsorship request application.
