The Scope of Work includes the following: Repair of structural support under sidewalk and replacement of sidewalk. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Mandatory Bonds and Guarantees - A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid will be required. Bid guarantees, performance bonds and payment bonds will be required in accordance with 40 C.F.R. 31.36(h). Bonds are required to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Municipality reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids. The Projects require all prime contractors and subcontractors to pay all laborers and mechanics employed on the Projects wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality.
