The Municipality of Norristown is seeking proposals from qualified contractors and individual service providers to furnish on-call, as-needed electrical services for municipal facilities, infrastructure, systems, and related municipal needs. Contractors must provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and incidentals necessary to perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, emergency response, minor installation work, and related services as directed by the Municipality. Proposals may be submitted by firms, companies, partnerships, corporations, or other business entities regularly engaged in electrical contracting or service work, as well as qualified individuals who meet all licensing, insurance, registration, and contractual requirements. The Municipality may award a contract to one or more proposers and may utilize additional awarded contractors as backup providers to ensure adequate coverage, responsiveness, continuity of service, or operational flexibility. All proposals must be submitted electronically through PennBid. Paper submissions and late submissions will not be accepted. Questions must be submitted through PennBid, and responses or addendums will be issued through PennBid. Oral interpretations or clarifications are not binding.
