Renovation of a municipal facility in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work includes masonry cleaning, door and transom replacement, restoration and repair of select wood architectural elements, and related exterior facade improvements intended to improve the building's exterior condition while respecting its historic character. The project also includes associated work as identified in the project documents. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "240 W. Main Street Historical Facade Improvements - Bid Submission" and must include the name and address of the bidder. Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, are available for review at the Norristown Department of Planning & Municipal Development and may be obtained electronically at no cost or in hard copy for a non-refundable fee. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site and attendance is required for all prospective bidders. All questions must be submitted via email with the specified subject line by the stated deadline. Bidders must be properly licensed and insured and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
