Work includes but is not limited to: Repairing wood elements, replacing exterior light fixtures and storefront glazing, and repairing cracked tile. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "104 E. Main Street Historical Façade Improvements - Bid Submission" and must include the name and address of the bidder. Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, are available for review at the Norristown Department of Planning & Municipal Development and may be obtained electronically at no cost or in hard copy for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 per set. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site. Attendance is required for all prospective bidders. All questions must be submitted via email with "104 E Main Street" in the subject line. No questions will be accepted by phone. Bidders must be properly licensed and insured and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Municipality of Norristown reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding process, and to award the contract in the best interest of the Municipality.
