Sealed proposals are being solicited for general construction, specifically roofing and siding, at the Erie County Courthouse. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's or trust company treasurer's check, or approved Surety Company's bid bond, all made payable to the County of Erie in the amount of 10 percent of the base bid as security. Bidders may obtain an electronic link to the plans and specifications by mailing a non-refundable check for each project to the office of the Architect, Roth Marz Partnership, and must include the company name, contact person, and email address. All contracts exceeding $10,000 must comply with Executive Order 11246 and related regulations, and the project is subject to State Prevailing Wages, related Acts, and Project Labor Agreement compliance. No bidder may withdraw their bid for sixty days after the opening. The County of Erie reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept or reject any part of the bids. Last Addendum RFIs Received at RMP by Friday am, May 29. Questions during the bid period shall be directed to the office of the architect. SUMMARY OF WORK: Scope includes, but not necessarily limited to, the following: A. Remove metal roof and wall panels where indicated. B. Provide interior finish repairs / replacement C. Provide new metal roofing (13,700+ sf) D. Correct/replace gutters and downspouts. E. Correct any misalignment of metal cornice. F. Provide new MBS built-up roofing w/ tapered insulation (1,036 +/- s.f.) G. Provide new metal wall panels (1,270 +/- s.f.) at interior courtyard H. Replace railing at east side of east wing I. ADD Alt 1 – add second line of snow rails J. ADD Alt 2 – upgrade metal roof to .050 inch thick
