The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, the removal and replacement of existing roofing systems. All work shall be performed in accordance with the full project plans, specifications, and contract documents provided by the District. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and District requirements. The Contractor shall coordinate closely with the District regarding site access, logistics, and designated staging areas. All work activities shall be planned and executed to minimize disruption and ensure the safety of students, staff, and campus operations. Bidders must submit their Bid Proposals in compliance with the Instructions for Bidders. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions for Bidders. The District requires that Bidders possess the C-39 California Contractors License at the time that the Contract for the Work is awarded. All contractors and subcontractors listed on any Bid Proposal must be properly registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5. This Project is subject to prevailing wage laws and DIR compliance monitoring and enforcement. The successful bidder shall post all job-site notices required by DIR regulations and other applicable laws, including prevailing wage rates, in conspicuous locations at the Site of the Work. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive, in accordance with applicable laws, any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding.
