Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Greenville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The primary purpose of this project isto construct civil and site improvements at the Town's WTP to facilitate the replacement of the existing filter system Mobilization / Site Preparation Temporary Erosion, Sedimentation, and Water Pollution Control Select removal of existing piping at the WTP, currently used to bypass the existing filtration system. Removal includes valves and fittings. Construction of a 40 ft by 13.5 ft reinforced cast-in-place concrete equipment pad, including reinforcement materials, excavation, grading, and compacted base. Furnish and install approximately 265 LF of 6-inch and 55 LF of 8-inch AWWA C900 DR-18 PVC yard piping (mechanical joint), including valves and ductile iron fittings, and connections to existing WTP piping and infrastructure as shown on the Construction Drawings and quantities included on the Bid Form. Furnish and install approximately 10 LF of 1.5-inch Schedule 80 PVC piping, including fittings and two (2) stainless steel service saddles with threaded outlets to connect to an 8-inch PVC backwash drain line. Core drilled penetration and flexible pipe-to-structure connection for an 8-inch influent pipe to the existing filter backwash pump station wetwell on-site. Unloading of the proposed filter system after it is delivered to the WTP site by the Supplier. The contractor for this project is not responsible for the supply and delivery of the proposed filter system, nor the purchasing of the filter equipment. Furnish and install materials for anchoring the proposed filter system to the concrete pad as shown on the construction drawings. Removal of media from the existing filter system tank and flushing / cleaning of the tank to facilitate its modification to a treated water holding tank. Loading of media into the tanks of the proposed filter system. The contractor for this project is not responsible for the purchase, supply, and delivery of the proposed filter system media. Submittal of shop drawings, pipe pressure testing, Bac-T testing, and record drawings.
