Sealed bids are requested for the Demolition of Central School located at 27 Public Square, Brecksville, Ohio 44141. Specifications can be obtained by contacting the Director of Purchasing or picked up at Brecksville City Hall. Each prospective bidder must attend a mandatory pre-bid walkthrough at the site with the Service Director and Chief Building Official to understand the scope of work. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty & Contract Bond as provided in the bid documents. The project is partially funded by the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program and is subject to applicable local, state, and federal laws, including compliance with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code regarding wages and hours on public works. Information required from potential bidders includes company name, address, phone, contact name, and email address. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the received bids. Question Deadline 05/25/2026 at 10:00 AM ET All pre-bid questions should be submitted electronically in writing to the attention of Monica Bartkiewicz, Director of Purchasing at mbartkiewicz@brecksville.oh.us. The City will respond to pre-bid questions submitted by the deadline of 10:00 AM four (4) working days prior to the date of the bid opening.
