Description

Demolition for a multi-residential development in Brecksville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development.

The work involves the complete demolition of a two-story house and abandonment of the septic system at 8456 Whitewood Road, Brecksville, Ohio. All demolition debris must be treated as regulated asbestos-containing material (RACM) and disposed of at an Ohio EPA approved asbestos waste disposal site. An Ohio EPA licensed Asbestos Hazard Abatement Contractor must oversee removal. The contractor is responsible for completing Ohio EPA notifications, permits, and submitting evidence to the City Building Department; capping sewer/septic lines per County requirements; backfilling the excavation with clean fill, soil, seed, and straw; scheduling inspection post-demolition; obtaining a demolition permit with the City; terminating all utilities; coordinating with the homeowner for removal of belongings before demolition; and must be licensed/registered with the Brecksville Building Department.
