The City of Horseshoe Bay, Texas is Contemplating the Upgrade of Approximately One Half Mile of Streets Through Full Depth Reclamation of the Existing Streets Along With the Construction of Approximately 3600 Linear Feet of Ribbon Curb and Drainage Upgrades and Other Related Appurtenances. This Seventh Phase of Streets Planned Will Consist of Areas in Horseshoe Bay West and the Horseshoe Bay Proper and Horseshoe Bay South Subdivision. Qualified Contractors Are Invited to Submit Bids for the Phase Seven of Street Improvements. Qualified Contractors Shall Have Experience With at Least Three Similar Type Jobs Within the Last Seven Years. Each Job Must Be Listed and Included With the Bid Documents. Each Referenced Job Must Be of Similar Size and Scope to the Proposed Project to Be Considered. Contact Information of the Client or Someone Closely Familiar to Each Referenced Project Must Be Provided. The Contractor Shall Also Provide Names of Key Staff Who Were Involved With the Projects and Whether or Not Those Individuals Are Still With the Company. Qualified Contractors Will Be Limited in Use of Subcontractors to a Maximum of 50% of the Work as Determined by the Bid Price. In General, the Work Includes Providing All Labor, Materials, Equipment, and Services Necessary for Phase Seven of Street Improvements for the City of Horseshoe Bay as Shown on the Drawings and Specifications in Accordance With the Contract Documents. A ""Bid Guarantee"" in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Price Consisting of a Firm Commitment, Such as a Bid Bond or Certified Check Payable to the City of Horseshoe Bay Must Accompany Each Bid as Assurance That the Bidder Will, Upon Acceptance of Their Bid, Promptly Enter Into a Contract for Construction of the Project According to the Contract Documents. Guaranty Bonds in the Form of a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, in an Amount Not Less Than One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price Will Be Required. The Contract Will Be Awarded to the Bidder(S) Whose Bid(S) Are Responsive, Who Have the Experience and Financial Capability, and in the Judgement of the City of Horseshoe Bay is Deemed to Be the Most Qualified. If the City of Horseshoe Bay Does Not Receive a Bid Which It Considers Acceptable or Concludes for Any Other Reason(S) Not to Enter Into a Contract the City of Horseshoe Bay Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any and All Informalities."
