Renovation of a multi-residential development in Columbus, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Sealed proposals will be received for roof replacement for Building 702, Rivers Homes, Housing Authority of Columbus, Georgia. Bid documents, including specifications, are available for public inspection at the specified architectural office and the Housing Authority office. Applications for bid documents should be submitted to the architects. Bids must include a certified check or Bidder's Bond for at least 5% of the bid, payable to the Owner. Performance and Payment Bonds for the full contract amount are required from the successful bidder. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty days after opening. Contractors must pay prevailing wages as specified and submit weekly payroll documents showing required data for each worker by trade and worksite. Contractors must provide an affidavit verifying E-Verify compliance. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive technicalities and informalities. The project must be completed within 90 days after Notice to Proceed.
