Site work for a water / sewer project in Savannah, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves the construction of a new 300,000 gallon elevated storage tank, foundation, piping, and appurtenances. Incidental work may include relocating an existing waterline, excavation, piping, valving, controls, demolition, cut/fill, concrete, placement, paving/resurfacing, tank disinfection, start-up, testing, and all other appurtenances. All work described is to be completed within 12 months of starting construction. The contractor must comply with all applicable OSA safety training and requirements, the State of Missouri Prevailing Wage Law, and all requirements regarding immigration and e-verification of citizenship. Only Missouri laborers and laborers from non-restrictive states may be employed if the unemployment rate exceeds 5% for two consecutive months. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used must be produced in the United States under the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) unless a waiver is approved.
