Demolition for a municipal facility in Elkhart, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for demolition projects at two specified locations in Elkhart County, Indiana. The work includes general demolition, removal, disposal, and restoration. All proposals must cover the costs for general demolition, removal and disposal, restoration, equipment, labor, materials, permits, licenses, bond, insurance, and any other requirements incidental to and necessary for the demolition projects. Bidders must include a non-collusion affidavit, submit their bids in sealed envelopes with the project title and their contact information, and provide a certified check or bid bond for at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. If awarded, a performance bond at 100% of the contract price will be required, remaining in force throughout the contract term and for twelve months after substantial completion. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept or combine proposals as deemed desirable, and waive informalities in bidding. Proposals cannot be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder as determined by the County. Bidders are responsible for site inspection and reviewing all relevant documents. All applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations apply to the projects.
