Henderson County requests proposals for a turnkey project including all labor, materials, traffic control, supervision, disposal fees, permits, and inspections for renovations to restroom facilities and two entryways to comply with current ADA standards. The work includes renovation of the entryways into both men's and women's restrooms at the facility, ensuring ADA compliance for at least one stall in each restroom, modification of shower areas and exterior entryways, and ensuring all work matches existing finishes. The contractor must meet or exceed all requirements outlined and provide a scheduled timeline, necessary supervision, and a detailed written warranty for all work upon completion of the project. For the men's restroom, scope includes a ramped transition from the gym floor, demolition as needed, painting, ADA-compliant stall, installation of phenolic panels and urinal divider, and creation of an ADA-accessible shower stall. For the women's restroom, scope includes ramping from the gym floor, installation of phenolic panels, addition of an ADA accessible toilet in the adjacent locker room, and modification of the shower entry. For the entry areas, work includes ADA-compliant ramping at two locations; one as a base requirement and another as an alternate, possibly including stairs. Payment and Performance bond for 100% of the base bid are required for proposals over $300,000.00 General requirements specify matching all paint and flooring, required demolition and disposal, and a 1-year warranty on workmanship. The contractor is responsible for permitting, inspections, power, dumpsters, material storage, site safety, repairs to any damage, and must adhere to all county site rules. Proposals must include all applicable licensure, schedule, warranty, a signed proposed contract, insurance and tax documents, separate pricing for alternates, all taxes, required bonds for large bids, and MWBE affidavits where applicable.
