Current proposed projects are at Memorial Track at Owens Field. This solicitation will establish prequalified firms to provide a fixed price bid on the project. Qualifications Required: o Contractor with ten (10) years of experience installing running tracks in the Southeast o Photos and descriptions of five successful installs at high school or collegiate sports tracks in the Southeast o Current certification as a track builder with the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) o Demonstrated experience with asphalt paving, site work, and drainage issues Project Specifics: This contract will not award the contract for services, but prequalify contractors to bid on the following project specific work: o Pre-project work including site inspection, verification of existing conditions, survey/layout, and product data information o Demolition & removal of old track o Repair sub-base, including regrading or compaction, installation of fill as required o Track resurfacing o Line striping and marking o Quality control and testing o Site restoration o As-builts, warranties, and final inspection approvals
