Add Alternate Demolition of existing siding, gypsum board and windows followed by the installation of a new adhered weather barrier, 1" of rigid insulation, smooth Hardie Plank lap siding, and new windows. Keep and protect necessary items to be re-installed later. o Demo & dispose of existing siding o Demo & dispose of gypsum board o Clean and prep substrate per weather barrier manufacturers requirements o Install new weather barrier per plans & specs o Install flashings per plans & specs o Install new siding & trim per plans & specs o Touch up paint for miscellaneous trim as required o Re-install all trim, fixtures, address signage, and other attached components that were taken off at the start of the project.
