Removal and replacement of existing electrical switchboards and motor control center panels within the ALTESS data center, including demolition of one GE fused switchboard and associated MCC in Room 119 and one Westinghouse fused switchboard and associated MCC in Room 241. Work includes temporary power provisions to maintain operation of hot water pumps and sewer ejection compressors during changeover; removal, rerouting, and reconnection of feeder and through circuits; installation of new customized Eaton (or equal) switchboards and MCC panels sized to support all existing loads, lighting panel feeds, and future capacity; integration and preservation of all controls, wiring, and current transformers supporting Trane Building Automation Systems and Schneider Electric StruxureWare monitoring systems; and reinstallation or relocation of hand-off-auto controls as required. All BAS-related work must be verified and recommissioned by a certified Trane Authorized Controls technician with full functional testing. The scope also includes after-hours and weekend repowering activities, certified testing of newly installed systems, arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies for the entire facility, and proper disposal of all removed equipment and associated debris at approved facilities.
