Provide inspection, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repair, testing, and staff training services for cooling towers to ensure reliable and optimal operation. Services include comprehensive mechanical, visual, functional, electrical, hydraulic, and thermal inspections; cleaning by power washing; replacement and installation of gearboxes, valves, and damaged water distribution components; fan pitch adjustment and balancing; basin cleaning; and restoration of system performance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable safety standards. The work also includes development and execution of testing plans, post-work operational and performance testing, vibration and noise analysis, water quality testing, and submission of detailed inspection and testing reports with photographic documentation. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, scaffolding or OSHA-approved lifts, materials, permits, PPE, waste disposal, schedules, technical submittals, warranties, maintenance logs, and coordination required to complete the work without disrupting facility operations. In addition, the contractor shall furnish up to two days of on-site training for facility staff covering cooling tower operation, routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, and seasonal operation, all performed in compliance with federal, state, local, environmental, occupational safety, and VA requirements.
