Site work for a water / sewer project in Baraga, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Keweenaw Bay Indian Community is requesting bids for the construction of the AC Water Main Replacement project. The work includes: installation of 2,590 feet of 8-inch PVC C900 DR18 water main by open trench; 70 feet of 8-inch HDPE CIPS DR11 water main by directional drilling; seven 8-inch gate valves and boxes; 910 feet of 1-inch CTS DR9 water service line by open trench; 270 feet of 1-inch CTS DR9 water service line by directional drilling; 18 feet of 1 1/4-inch CTS DR9 water service line by open trench; 295 feet of 4’ x 2” insulation; twenty 1-inch corporation stops with saddles; twenty 1-inch curb stops with boxes; three 1 1/4-inch corporation stops with saddles; three 1 1/4-inch curb stops with boxes; six fire hydrants with 6-inch gate valves and boxes; restoration of roads and driveways; replacement of culverts; removal/abandonment of existing facilities; and connection to existing water system. Alternate work includes spot replacement of hydrants and valves, additional pipe installation, and restoration of roads and driveways.
