Ground Maintenance/Landscaping Services Questions from Respondents Due May 15, 2026 Direct all inquiries concerning this RFP to: Michael Switzer, P.E. MVSU Facilities Management michael.switzer@mvsu.edu Mississippi Valley State University seeking proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured landscape contractors to provide comprehensive, year-round lawn care and grounds maintenance services for approximately 235 acres of campus, including, but not limited to academic quads, housing areas, athletic fields, parking lot perimeters, and administrative building landscapes. Our goal is to maintain a safe, highly aesthetic, and sustainable environment that enhances the campus experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 year(s), with the option to renew for 2 additional one-year periods. The initial term of this agreement will be August 1, 2026 (Estimated), through July 31, 2029 (Estimated) The award of this RFP initial term and subsequent renewals are contingent upon securing funding. Landscape maintenance areas shall include but are not limited to the following: turf areas, comprehensive landscape maintenance of bedded areas, trees, shrubs, perennials and other plant materials, and hardscaping (parking, curbing and walkway areas etc.). A map is included to identify the areas to be cut weekly and the areas to be cut bi-weekly. Services shall include - but are not limited to - turf mowing, edging, leaf blowing, weed control, cleanup, shrubs, hedges, small trees, turf renovations, debris disposal, pine straw and/or mulch.
