Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake in the Hills, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Village of Lake in the Hills (the "Village") seeks a General Contractor ("Contractor") to remove (1) one Water Filtration Tank roughly 11 feet tall x 11 feet wide x 30 feet long from Well 6, 310 Council Trail, Lake in the Hills IL 60156. This project will be done in 2 phases. Phase 1 will be to remove the Water Filtration Tank, there will be rough opening of 11x12 to remove the tank. All wiring and piping to the tank will be disconnected. This project should be completed between June 15 2026-July 6 2026. The Village will then purchase a new filtration system, which still has a TBD for arrival. The new overhead door will be installed in the rough opening. Phase 2 will include, to off load (2) two steel framed skids with (3) three vessels on each frame, with each vessel rough estimate of 5 feet in diameter in-between 7 feet to 8 feet tall weighing 6,000-lbs. each. Another offload will include (2) two vessels at roughly 8 feet in diameter and 15 feet tall weighing in at 16,000-lbs. each. Each vessel will need to be laid over and brought through the 12-foot overhead door than stood up. Once the vessels are set, there need to be an assembly of a rack of pipes from one vessel to the other vessel and bolted together. This phase, we will wait for the new filtration system to show up and should be completed between October 2026-February 2027.
