This notice announces a forthcoming public announcement for architect-engineer services to be procured using the procedures in FAR part 36. The agency intends to award a single indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with an estimated maximum value of $60 million. The announcement will be unrestricted, and all responsible and qualified business concerns will be eligible to submit responses. The required services include comprehensive architect-engineer support such as pre-design and site analysis, schematic design, design development, preparation of construction documents, detailed construction cost estimates, construction administration, post-construction inspection, and verification and certification. Design development services encompass architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscaping, interior design and space layout, and project development scheduling. Required disciplines include, but are not limited to, project management, architecture, space planning, cost estimating, drafting, electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, fire safety, environmental engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, site planning, construction management, ergonomics, plumbing, and program management. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required. Services will be performed on a nationwide basis, with a significant amount of effort anticipated in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
