Renovation of a day care center in Woodlawn, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center.
As of March 11, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Combined synopsis/solicitation Social Security Administration (SSA), Child Care Center Chiller Replacement located at 6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21235. This is a full and open competition. This is NOT set aside for small business. Period of Performance: 45 days upon Contracting Officers Notice to Proceed (NTP) Scope of work- The contractor shall replace the existing chiller with a new energy efficient unit, ensure minimum disruption to SSA/CCC during the installation. Prepare a thorough assessment of the existing conduit and chiller and provide connection tothe control panel. Contractor should evaluate replacement chiller on capacity, efficiency and compatibility with the existing infrastructure, consider factors such as load requirements, climate and available space. Contractor shall disconnect and safely remove the old chiller, install new chiller including all necessary piping, insulation, electrical connections and controls. The contractor is required toprovide two tee connections, two blank fittings, and two isolation valves for the temporary chiller to ensure continuous cooling to the CCC during the installation of the new chiller.
