Proposals are requested for traffic signal upgrades at Easton Rd (SR 0611) & Delaware Rd (SR 1016). Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for upgrades such as controller cabinet, mast arms, junction boxes, push buttons, vehicle/pedestrian signal heads, wiring, pavement markings/signing, vehicle detection, traffic control, and related work. All contractors must comply with PA Prevailing Wage requirements and be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor with work class code "P"; all contractors and subcontractors must be prequalified as per Pub. 408 102.01. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond of at least 10% of the bid amount from a company licensed in the owner's state. Bids must be unconditional and may not be withdrawn for 30 days after bid opening. Riegelsville Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to accept the bid deemed in the Borough's best interest.
