Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 400-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists primarily of the construction of a new Electrical Building with approximate dimensions of 20' x 20', including HVAC and plumbing. The work also includes site work for the new building and equipment, a new panelboard, transformer, and circuiting. The contractor will install Owner-supplied equipment including a 1,500kVA transformer, 1,600A automatic transfer switch, 1,600A main circuit breaker, and 1,600A motor control center. Additional work involves a new 35kV gang operated air break switch, replacement of existing exhaust fans and starters, and replacement of a powered overhead door operator. This bid is for Contract 1B - Mechanical Construction.
