Mississippi Valley State University is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured landscape contractors to provide comprehensive, year-round lawn care and grounds maintenance services for approximately 235 acres of campus. This area includes, but is not limited to, academic quads, housing areas, athletic fields, parking lot perimeters, and administrative building landscapes. The goal is to maintain a safe, highly aesthetic, and sustainable environment that enhances the campus experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years, with the option to renew for 2 additional one-year periods. Awarded vendors will be expected to sign a Contract for Services for a term of 3 years with the option to renew for additional 1-year terms up to a total of 5 years. Mississippi Valley State University reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive minor defects or variations that do not affect price, quality, quantity, delivery, or performance time, and require additional information if the submitted proposal is insufficient for evaluation. In case of contractor default, the university may purchase any or all services in default on the open market and charge the contractor with all associated costs. All materials, products, and services must meet the requirements of the specifications indicated or referred to. The university reserves the right to make an award in its best interest and is not required to select the lowest respondent. Proposals may be rejected for unauthorized amendments, conditions, incompleteness, late receipt, lack of proper signature, false or misleading statements, or failure to offer all required services.
