Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
New York Street corridor improvements will involve adding an additional left turn lane at Commons Dr., Station Boulevard and the Fox Valley Mall Entrance 6. Other proposed improvements will involve modernizing all traffic signals, widening minor streets to accommodate the left turn lane, street lighting upgrade, installing video detection system, sidewalk/bike path installation, upgrading ADA ramps, tree removal/replacement and other pertinent work. The city was approved for federal Highway Safety Improvement Program funding, the project cost will be covered at a 90/10 split. The project is included in the City 2026-2035 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 13,2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
