Renovation of an industrial development in Lansing, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.

Leavenworth County Buildings & Grounds is accepting bids for 'Transfer Station Tipping Floor.' Sealed bid proposals must be submitted, with the envelope clearly marked 'Transfer Station Tipping Floor.' Copies of plans and specifications can be viewed or purchased online for a non-refundable fee. Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes all related charges. The contract will be awarded based on the best qualified bid, considering unit prices, delivery time and method, conformity to specifications, and service. The County reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified. Bidders agree that rejection creates no liability for the County and unsuccessful bidders have no cause of action for bid preparation costs. Filing a bid constitutes agreement to these conditions. The County is a tax-exempt entity, and prices must include all exempt taxes. The core sample confirmed the existing concrete pavement thickness is approximately 12 inches thick, not 8 inches as originally stated in the bid documents. All bidders shall revise demolition, removal, disposal, and replacement quantities accordingly. REVISED QUANTITY INFORMATION Estimated project area remains: o Under roof structure: 63' x 60' o Outside structure: 63' x 15' o Total estimated area: 4,725 square feet (to be field verified) Revised Estimated Concrete Quantity Based on 12-inch pavement thickness: o Approximate concrete volume: 175 cubic yards (Bidders shall verify all quantities independently.) REINFORCEMENT REQUIREMENTS No change to reinforcement requirements unless otherwise noted in future addenda. o #4 rebar at 12 inches on center each way o Top reinforcement bar to maintain 2.5-inch clearance from top of pavement ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS All other terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements of the original bid documents shall remain unchanged.
