The work generally consists of removal and replacement of the existing systems on several buildings and roof repairs at six separate buildings. Roof replacement consists of adhered EPDM single-ply and asphalt shingle steep roofing. The project includes interior protection, tear-off, deck replacement, painting, plumbing, insulation, mechanical, vapor retarder, electrical, masonry, rough carpentry, joint sealants, and roof-related sheet metal work at the J Avenue Water Treatment Plant. The City Engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost for the work is $2,100,000.
